no less than 375, less than 1 year old, less than 1krds, all accessories, including ammo. she's a great gun. paid her more attention than my girlfriend(j/k). never dirty, never abused.

Hi, is this the model which can be shoot under water? No safer on her, right? I want the gun, but I'm lafraid my kid might get to it? That's my worse nightmare, but let me think about it since is a great deal.

i was telling the other guy i wasnt going any lower than $375(thats at the absolute lowest,) 'cause that would be a huge cut for a gun that is otherwise in mint condition. 400-425 i'd let it go right now. with everything mentioned.

to answer that question, just about all glocks can be shot near water but...
Although you may install the maritime spring cups on any Glock model, *only* the Glock 17 was designed and intended to use the modified spring cups for aquatic firing -- and only then using 9mm ball ammunition to remain within acceptable pressure limits. The foolhardy who insist on living dangerously must keep several things in mind: The Glock 17 must be fully submersed underwater. There must not be any air left within the pistol as the muzzle is pointed towards the surface of the water after submersion to allow the air in the barrel to escape. Use only full metal jacket, ball-type ammunition because the water within the barrel can spread a hollow point out within the barrel upon firing. This increases the bearing surface of the bullet to the barrel and could catastrophically increase pressures. Even if the barrel doesn't burst, the expanded bullet would get even bigger upon exiting into the water and would slow down very quickly while tumbling. Accuracy would be terrible.

The Glock 17 may be equipped with an optional set of maritime spring cups for use in water environments. Maritime spring cups are not intended for submerged firing, but for surface use by special ops teams who operate in and around water. The maritime spring cups are two small parts within the firing pin assembly and are not included on any Model 17 sold by Glock (civilians can only get them through 3rd parties). They insure that water can pass by the firing pin within the firing pin channel, thus preventing the creation of hydraulic force within the firing pin channel -- which would slow the firing pin down, causing light primer strikes. With the special cups, the action will cycle reliably while submersed, if a little bit slower. NATO specification ammunition (such as Winchester's Ranger RA9124N) with waterproof sealed primers and case mouths is recommended.

you said less than a 1000 rounds been through that gun. I can buy that same gun for $300 with that many rounds shot through it. Maybe even cheaper. I'll find out next week when I go to the gun show. But 9mm with that many rounds are not that expensive. But then again it is a a glock.

375 seems fair market price if it has a few accessories like extra mags.nite sights, or adjustable sights...i'd love to have a glock nine to sit next to my glock 22c 40cal..they are great guns but atif is right..gun shows have them for 300....and if u are savvy enough..a "new" glock factory re-pop can be had for 400...

Is yours a new style frame with finger grooves and a sight rail?

that it is. it has the handle with the molded finger grooves and the sight rail for mounting accessories like lights or those big ass cumbersome lasers. i was gonna get the slide chromes and instal the internal crimson trace laser that replaces the recoil rod, but at this point in time i wont be able to do that. i'll just buy another one(glock) later on this year and out fit it the way i wanted to do this one.

dude prollly want to see if the myth was true....but i wouldnt recommend anyone try that shit! it's too risky. and like you said, why would one want to shoot their gun underwater ? this aint SOCOM or METAL GEAR SOLID. i dont see any situation in our civilian lives that would cause for one needing to shoot while submerged.

Whats the age to buy a pistol? Is there a website somewhere that shows all the rules on transporting one? Like keeping it in sight in the vehicle, etc.

21 to buy w/no felony convictions. if u don't have a conceal weapons permit then u can transport it on your passenger side seat or glove compartment loaded i believe, but NOT under the seat or in your trunk, unless of course then it's unloaded and in its case. just google ga gun laws for all the details.
