I highly recommend this movie. I've had it for a while, showed it to my friends, and they all ended up wanting a copy. The final fight scene is amazing. Jet Li is so unbelievably fast.
This movie is based on the life of Huo Yuan Jia. If you don't know who he is, hit up wikipedia.
The big dude is former WWE wrestler Nathan Jones. This huge guy always gets beat up in every movie he is in haha.

i bought the movie too but it wasn't as good as i expected it to be. some parts were boring
it isn't available at any retail stores yet. I think the US release date is August 4th.
But you can order it on the web from sites such as play-asia.com, but the DVD will be for region 3 DVD players, so more than likely it won't play on many standard dvd players. you'll need a region free dvd player.
If you really want to watch it now... i'm not sure what the policy is on this site for torrents and stuff. if it isn't against the rules, i'll post up where to download it and where to get the subtitles that have no grammar errors.
or can I just get a copy from you? if so how much?

This movie was awesome. Great fight scenes as well as a somewhat accruate portrayel of Huo Yuan. I just watched it in chinese. Who needs subtitles?

Did you guys like this movie? I watched it once and deleted it, was kind of disappointed since I expected to be "Jet Li" standard. It is nowhere near the quality "kiss of the dragon" or "hero", so I don't think it's worth paying. My $.02
if you think that those 2 movies were any of is quality movies....you need to get out more. hero was a good movie. KOTD was horrendous.

i have the torrent file. was an ok movie, his other movies were better though imo. had the french subtitles

fist of legend has some awesome fight scenese too. the movie starts off with jet li getting a telegram stating his master was killed. he got upset and kicked some japs ass in his class. he then goes and challenges that jap that fought with his master.... i'll leave it from there paul
