But at a fine dining restaurant it shouldn't matter what gender your server is. Even so, it should never matter, have the decency to realize your the servers boss. You order him or her around, and you are the one paying him in the end. Make it worth it.
If our server keep drinks filled, etc and is outgoing with thier personality we are bug tippers. But you let us sit there for 10+ minutes or more at a time with empty drinks and shit, tip goes down, and If you have no personality with us until you bring the check, it goes WAY down

Understandable, I bring a new glass once the person has drank theirs at the most HALF way down. I then replace the drink with a new one. I think people are so use to bad service that when they get good service they don't know what to do.

since i work at a restaurant, i alawys tip very very highly. depends what my tab is normally, but im a damn good tipper. +1 for the rant though
whoa, easy there son.....I wasnt attacking you....I was just curious on why you are making it a bigger deal than it really is? I thought you worked at a gym? but I guess wrong. Do you really feel that there is somebody out to get you? and that you and your car might be in somekind of danger? Do you sleep with one eye open? I mean, damn....sounds like you might just not be the people person for a waiting job.
did you ever think that Julio originally asked to see where you worked is to check out the food and atmosphere and staff to see why mabye you get low tips? or maybe he was gonna stop by and get something to eat and leave you a generous tip? I mean, he is a baller......
and devin, pretty much anyone who's ever worked at a resturant knows the world of shitty tippers....I always give about 25-30%.....but you are always gonna get the people who think 5-10% is good.
