    Default My AE86...

    I got an AE86 SR5 l8 last year from a dude with a hole in the block but it still ran. Needless to say, i finished it off by blowing the shit out of it. It u break a rod ur mtr will rev alot higher for a few seconds. lol!! I guess it was pretty hot bc the heat from the mtr set the pine straw on fire under the car after it blew up.

    But ne way, what mtr should i put in it. I want boost bc i want to drift it and aint nun like hearing a BOV while pedaling through a turn. GAWD!!

    I dnt know how to make a poll so post ur ideas. By the way, i suck and computers.

    LT1 longblock with tranny and ECU is pretty cheap for approx. 320hp/350 torque Boost it!

    SR20 is on the top of my list actually. I might decide to try and keep it Toyota though, i dnt know yet.

    not bad but id still put a 2jzgte in it b4 a s2000 mtr. i lik the s2000 mtr but i just want to get my hands on something other than honda for a minute.

    dude Sk2 in a Hachi tofu is heaven.... i got the AMERICAN TOUGE dvd and its hot dude, they have one set up like that and it owns all.... wierd hearing Vtec come from an 86 tho.

    There's that T2 engine with tranny and ecu in the for sale section...JDM turbo wankel from an FC would be crazy in an ae86. I can't imagine it costing too much...

    The puerto rican dude across from Tiger Racing has one with a stock Conquest turbo in it...i think it was running 11's at Commerce.

    That MR2 turbo is the same engine that is in the Toyota Altezza, minus the turbo and modified by Beams adding VVT-i producing almost as much power as the MR2 turbo setup. The Toyota Altezza RS200 Z-edition has a 6 speed transmission too Since that car was like only $18k brand new and been around since '98/'99 i'd look into getting that 3S-GE swap for it

    ...i'm assuming you could use an MR2 upgrade turbo kit on it producing close to 300hp if not more

    oh shit, i found that swap including the 6-speed tranny for $2k. hrmmm...i'm trying to talk this guy into getting a '86 GT-S from him too. Dammit, i don't have anything big to sell besides my car to pay for the project, grrr
