Installation: Cut a hole in the concrete pad a little larger than a five gallon bucket. Using an auger/post hole digger remove dirt in 18 diameter [approx.] 8 feet down. Pack bottom with a sand and gravel until lift fits flush with concrete pad. The air line runs up the shaft from the bottom of the cylinder then you just need to cut a trench wide enough to run the line to a valve (I have the 3 way valves too), normally placed against a wall next to the garage door. The valve has a connection for the air hose from your compressor. Fill dirt around cylinder making sure it is level then pour a little quickcrete around the cylinder [case] flange and it's done.
