    Default FUCC DIPSET!!!!!

That's what G-Ushit had the crowd screaming at a Christmas concert last night. Juelz did a no-show and 50 called him out on it and had the crowd also shouting Fucc Juelz. Lolol. Then they did the "I Run NY" freestyle and followed it by saying G-Unit Runs NY and had the crowd screaming "Fucc Dipset"! Papoose and Busta wound up coming out and Pap did 2 songs with G-Ushit and Busta Rhymes murdered the show as usual. At the end of the show 50 was quoted as saying, "When you see dipset, tell em' 50 said f*ck you.." Lolol. Who is the idiot on IA that worships Diccset? Lolol! Later, QD.

I would say Dipset is the shittiest if I had to pick one, at least G-Unit's songs stick to one continuous thought. Dipset's shit jumps around more than a retarded kid trying to do a connect the dots puzzle, lol.

Hmmm...G-Unit or Dipset? That's like making a choice between diarrhea & vomit. No matter what you choose, it all stinks and needs to be flushed!

im glad to see so many gunit fans on the board.....

I just want a good reasonable explanation as to why you guys hate gunit so much....did 50 rape your sister or something? I know why quickdodge dont like them and its reasonable, but as far as the others

Personally, I don't think their music has any substance and very little creativity. I became a Hip-Hop fan because of the creative way MCs (like Rakim) would put their thought together. The thing that made rap music a true art form, like other genres of music, was the skill & lyrical prowess of the MC. When I think MCs, no one from G-Unit comes to mind. Being that 90% of their songs have the same subject matter, the least they can do is have a better/more creative way of saying it. Beyond that, I have a grocery list of reasons why I think 50 sucks. At least G-Unit now has Havoc (of Mobb Deep) to provide some nice tracks

Ok...its way too hard nowadays with the way hip hop is too be creative..all the videos and shit we listen to know rappers and other mc's were doing it 10 years ago, the substance has really never changed....

Some rappers just rap about life, some rappers like to talk about the materialistic things like the money and jewels they got but this pretty much differentiates(sp) rappers between other rappers.

1 Great fusion of lyrics, hooks, and melodic rhymes. The combination of these skills is what makes people sing along to the music of 50, big, and Pac. People everywhere including places like Japan and China where they speak no English. Even when they are talking, it sounds very melodic.

    2. Versatility: Pac, Biggie, and 50 can make kind of hip-hop and make is sound great. They can rap fast, rap slow, party music, grimy music, killing someone, dyeing, pimp music, loosing someone, selling drug, great hooks, melody and sing if they need to. These guys are all about creating great some music for fans of all kinds.

    3. Consistency: Every album has hits on them, every album has diversity, and every album have memorable songs on them. Before you respond to this point, read the next point or make yourself look stupid.
    4. Story telling: These guys tell compelling story in a way that makes you want to keep listening. There delivery is flawless. They ride the beats like no other.

    5. Show me a so-called “pop” song that 50 did and I will show you an equally pop song from Pac and Biggie. Pac (Me and my girlfriend, Still Down with Jon B), Biggie (Big Poppa, You Tonight with R. Kelly, that song with Total, Hypnotize). These are just a few examples. Of course other artist make similar songs, but they suck at it and nobody listen to it (Jada and the other D-Bums to name one). That should be seen as inferior talent and not some bullshit about being real.

    6. Pac and Biggie died and that confers instant greatness on them. Don’t get me wrong, those guys were great. 50 is alive, young and mad arrogant. As you will expect from so called hip-hop experts and from the backward thinking of blacks leadership in general they will deny him is due.
    7. In some respect 50 has done more than Biggie and Pac: Mixtapes, mixtapes, mixtapes! Do I need to say more here. If you don’t get it, you should be shot! [/b]

    8. Hip-hop is an art form. It is a matter of taste. The whole concept of that is real hip-hop and what is not is garbage that the so-called expert created to approve or disapprove something or someone they don’t like. Hip-hip like all art form must and does evolve. More over the concept of real hip-hop is a code word for “talking grimy about killing someone or selling drug or going to jail or racism or losing your parents”. Common people it can’t be just bad!

    9. So called hip-hop experts, like Sway from MTV, are idiots. They was us to think Rakim is a legend even though he only made one great album, they want us to think a young rapper cannot be considered great because he is young. They want us to say Nas is the greatest of all time even though he only had one classic album (Illmatic) and a good album (Stillmatic). How many great album did Scarface have? That is not enough. I will not even consider Biggie, my favorite MC of all time, a legend. They want us to say, Ice Cube is a legend because he was part of NWA (a pioneering group). Two albums is not enough to make someone a legend.

Peace. Just thought I’ll take some time out on a Sunday and make y’all think just “a lil bit”. One!

some people dislike artist cause certain artist dont like them.
you cant honestly say you liked Ja Rule more once you heard the disses 50 made...Ja fell in my book.
Some people might be fans of Jada, Fat joe, Game or one of the other many artists that dissed 50 or g unit....now they dislike them.
look was Lloyd Banks did to Joe Budden.

Its not too hard to be creative. Creativity should be the easy part of doing any form of music or art. If you're not creative, you'll be successful the way Ashlee Simpson and Milli Vanilli are/were successful. I feel the execution of an artists creativity is where the difficulty should lie. A lot of Jay-Z's songs have the same subject matter but, its hard to argue against the fact that he's very creative at saying what he has to say. I know every MC isn't the same and not all of them rely on the strength of their lyrics to carry a song. I think Pac was a great story teller and he was really good at putting his emotion into his music, and his fans felt that. With that being said, I don't feel he was as strong lyrically. To me, Biggie was the exact opposite, and NEITHER of them are the greatest of all time.

As for videos, I see creative videos all of the time. Not all Hip-Hop videos have to be the same. Common and Kanye have both had very creative videos recently that weren't stereotypical Hip-Hop videos. I think video is an artists best friend because this gives the artist a way to show his/her fans what he/she is saying. Think about the creativity that Busta and Hype Williams put into Busta’s videos for song from “The Coming”. The created a new style & format that was copied by everyone from Puffy to Monster Magnet (even though I’m pretty sure their video was kind of a spoof)

I guess the thing that sparks my interest in any type of artist is that artists ability to set himself/herself away from the rest of the pact. Anyone can sell records if you have the right people behind you so, record sales don't influence my taste. I just feel that 50 and G-Unit are more hype than substance, and its pretty easy to see that 50 is a fan of hype.

Basically I'm sick of 50 because he went to a level beyond commercial, he contradicts himself all the time and is doin all the same shit he was ripping on Ja for. Talked about Ja for singing on tracks, and then he puts out Candy Shop and then that Window Shopper bullshit. I ain't gonna say I dislike all of G-Unit, cuz I liked Young Buck's record he put out. Haven't been able to check out the latest one out yet though.

i think 50 is bringing the whole unit to much attention, buck and banks are average, the rest of them cats been weak except for m.o.p. mobb deep playin' theyselves and their true fans who have every record except the last one and their first one won't support this bullshit either. 50 mistakes record sales with skill and if that is the case then vanilla ice is one of the best mc's of all time. hip hop hasn't been this wrongly portrayed since m.c. hammer tried to be a gangsta. but dipset ain't shit special either they just have a truer fan base.
