Default D series motor...bigger the better

Need something to go into my crx to replace the d15... reusing the tranny. Looking for something cheap and reliable, but doesnt have to be a horsepower monster. I just want something with a little more kick than the 92hp my 1.5 had.

    Thanks!

Very reliable motor, no smokes under normal driving only when you rev it high 6-7K RPM's.
    New rear main seal
    New Oil pan gasket
Timing belt, tensioner & water pump needs to be replaced.
    Good motor
No headers and no Spark plug wires.
Why i'm selling it? because I got a B20Vtec now.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

Checo, thanks for your honesty, but i really need something that doesnt smoke at all. Thats the only real reason i pulled my stocker. Though i would definitely prefer a vtec motor. Burnout.. how many miles on it? just out of curiousity

You know all engines consume oil, not always a lot, on mine I have to add 1QT every 3k miles.... 160k miles when I pull out the engine runs just fine.

Im just trying to get a motor that isnt already starting to show signs of age. I would rather start with a clean slate since im still new to the import world.

Regal... as far as upgrades go, I can include a D16y8 header, which frees up some extra ponies. I'd also be happy to help you out with some at home mods that are cheap and effective. Let me know.
