That's a fucking impressive time for such minimal mods! His 60ft wasn't even all that great. I ran a 1.79 60' the last time that I was out. His 1/4 would have dropped down even more.

I really need to get off my ass and chip my car...

11.65 @ 126mph

Here are the details:
-2001 6MT Coupe on street tires and standard, k16 turbos
-Imagine Auto/EVO Stage 2 (Exhaust, 100-cell cats, Stage 2 software @ 1.1 bar) + EVO intake.
-100 octane fuel on "Race" program.
-Temp was 55 degrees.
-3,000 rpm soft launch.

I ran 12.29 with just exhaust and 93 octane. My best trap was 116.25mph on an 88' day after 3 runs or so. That was on my heavy, 19" wheels, so that sorta cancelled out the exhaust gains. I might have cut some time off had I put the stock, lighter 18"s back on. Most mags get 12.3-12.5 (stock) @ 115-116mph with a brutal launch. I only launch at 2700rpm. Perhaps I am just a good driver?

Nice, how much boost are the stock turbos pushing out usually do you have a controller or are you limited to how much boost you can run?

I could only imagine if you did a turbo upgrade with some weight reduction, 10's probaly wouldnt be too hard to come by...I guess if the stock clutch and tranny holds up.

Stock boost is around ~0.7 bar, dipping to 0.6 bar in the middle of the rev range, then climbing back to 0.7 bar at redline. So, 9-10psi stock. You don't run a boost controller in these cars for the most part. The ECU controls the boost.

When I get chipped, I will go from 9-10psi peak up to 15-16psi, peak.

The clutch would need to be upgraded past these mods. I mean, you are looking at over 520bhp and 550btq with these mods, alone. My friend Alex ran 10.7 with upgraded turbos, exhaust, intake, and whatnot in his tiptronic (auto) 911 turbo.

Yeah, the race gas. However, the race gas doesn't give that much, though. Maybe 1-2mph, max. Remember, we are set for peak boost when we chip our cars, so we will run 1.0-1.1 bar with the stage 2 chip; whether it be 91, 93, 100, or 100+ octane. Granted, the timing might advance some if we put in a higher octane, but you get the idea.

you shoulda came up to the mountain meet he was holding up last month. He was in his 355 , and i was in the 350z. There was a lotus, arthur was there with his supra, c5 vette, g35 and some others. It was fun as hell, we saw a car (some POS) ran off the cliff and blew up. Hes doing something in spring in savanahh. You should definity attend. Its a track course.
