    Default Thermostat bad again ?

    Its. 2002 Mitsubishi gallant 2.4ltr it had issues with over heating so I replaced the sensor and stat about a year ago now.
    Well today the top hose blew and once it was fixed still running high and No heater blower.
    Is this the damn thermostat again ?

    Could be a head gasket issue or you could have a restriction in your coolant system by the sounds of it.

    Sounds like air pocket maybe, did you burp the system?

    What is the best way to get the air out of the system for this car ? I know a honda usually has a air bleed valve dont think these Mitsubishi do

    air bleed valve? cmon, pull the rad cap and run the car till the bubbles come out and its full after the Tstat opens up.
