Need engine hoist

I may or may not need an engine hoist within the next month or so. Are there places around here that rent them out? Or does someone have one they will lend me for free? (wishfull thinking)

Im just trying to get an idea of who rents them out and what kind of prices i am looking at.

For the cost to rent one you could probably go to Northern Tools and buy one. I'm sure you could find it useful in the house for something when you're not using it too.

park the car you are liftin the motor out of underneath a big oak tree branch...toss a snatch strap or a chain over the branch and wrap one end around the motor and one end tied off to a truck...ease the truck forward and voila

Advance Auto if i remeber correctly, its been a while since i bought mine, sells some really nice lifts for 2 bills. I love that thing, i pick up clips with the motors still in them with ease, and that thing has lasted from over a year of non stop use.
