Default Wiring HKS turbo timer help

Alright, so I hooked up this used HKS turbo timer I picked up on my 06 ser specv. I was curious if anyone had one of these, cause I can't seem to get it work just right yet. Not sure if there is a way to program it, or I did something wrong in the wiring.

In the ON position and when the car is on, the timer is lit up, beeps, and I can switch it to volts, and off no problems. In acc it's not working though.

I DID NOT wire in the ebrake cable, as I have heard it wasn't needed, but a nice feature/safety precaution. If this is not true for this model, let me know. That may be my issue. It's a PITA to get my center console off, only reason I'm avoiding it.

According to a how to specific to the b15 sentra, I taped into all the correct wires (red to 12v constant, green to 12v ignition, and blue to 12v acc, black to ground), and the unit used (greddy) did not need the ebrake connected to function.

So is this ebrake wire necessary on the HKS? or is there something else I need to do as far as "programming" goes?

Well, since the center console is a PITA, I just grounded the grey wire (ebrake), and the TT now works! In case anyone else in the future happens to run into this.
