    So I opened an account in my name for my sister. She decided to have the service cut off instead of having it canceled. I'm not paying to have it canceled so I'm guessing the esn will be bad. I've heard you can unlock the iPhone and use it with any other carrier besides sprint (tmobile, AT&T, metro pcs ect) long as it doesn't require a SIM card. It's a brand new iPhone though always been In a case and with a screen cover.

    150 takes it or best offer I'm pretty firm on it since I'm 80% sure it can be jail broken and unlocked.

    If the phone is for Sprint (CDMA) then it can only be used for Sprint. If it were a GSM phone then you can unlock it and use it on other carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Orange, etc.).

    What about metro ? Can it be unlocked and used on metro service ?

    Looked it up... Verizon and metro are the only CDMA choices I suppose.
