Must have been before I moved here. There's never been a really solid GTG as long as I've been here. I've got plenty of toys but nobody to hang out with lol. Wave if you see a Black Porsche Turbo, slammed Miata, or Red Ducati 1098s. That's me...........

I talk to people every time I come home, usually meet at least one new person at Sonic. I try to organize meets during the Spring/Summer, the regular few show up and everyone else makes excuses. Unfortunately everyone would rather complain about Columbus not having a good scene instead of walking up to people and saying "Hey who drives the (fill in the blank)" and make conversation. There are a lot of nice cars and good people in town, you just have to find them.

It's the same thing every year, and it's not like the Britt David/Stein Mart meets were that good anyway. Everyone has delusions of grandeur about those times.

I'm probably bout to get back into doing some meets again next year. Might be getting back into a import again.

I went to sonic last night, and there was a really nice turnout. Didn't see anyone from this thread out there. And I'll agree I'm getting old for the parking lot thing, but getting a powerade slush and walking around for an hour or two still is fun enough to do.

im usually cruisn after 10 looking for some tuners. never see anyone so i head to the bar, and run into a few old "carspot" friends. they prefer to be inside enjoying air conditioning. even though im almost 28, i still try to hook up my MINI...
