    Default My car been vandalized

So i came home 2 days ago from my 24hr shift and found this.

I called the cops and They didnt even show up and just ask the details on the phone . Ihave to pick up the reports on wed.
Note: there a few worn up tears on my top prior and i called the insurance.

They said i have to add extra money from my deducatable if they have to replace the whole top due to my top having a few small tears prior to the incident.

Anyone has any good recommendation for a good body shop that can work with me and insurance? Any advise.

I found the latch that hold the top was unlocked and the top was flopping over due to the wind. I tried to retract the top but it wont go all the way down.

    Wtf! Hate apartmant living.

Damn that sucks. The good news may be that the top not going all the way down may not be from the vandalizing. If i remember correctly There is a bulletin on convertible 350z's where there are two elastic straps that need to be replaced for the top to go down properly. If that is the case then just the elastic straps and the fabric would need to be replaced which is much cheaper than the whole frame and fabric.

    Miata with a v6! Lol.

    Update:
Took it to the body shop in one of the net work and drop it off yesterday. Didnt like the shop at all. Customer service suck, the mechanic was rude to y fiance and i. I dont think they gonna work with me to replace it with a hardtop instead.

The adjuster gonna come to the shop today and see what the deal is.

Those of you who deal with this before, what are my options without getting srewed by my insurance?
