Description:

1993 Honda Civic EX Coupe. 190k miles. Sebring Silver Metallic with black interior trim. 1.6L SOHC VTEC 4-Cylinder engine with 5-Speed Manual transmission.

This Civic was a local trade-in from a Certified Honda mechanic. It has a clean title, and a clean Carfax history report with no prior accidents or other red flags. It is mostly stock & original with very few aftermarket modifications. These include a set of 15" Drag DR-20 wheels, Tein S-Tech lowering springs on OEM struts, axle-back muffler (it is bolted on at the b-pipe, not welded on, so it can be easily removed if its not to your liking), PasswordJDM yellow fog lights, amber corners, Spoon-style side mirrors, medium tinted windows, and an aftermarket head unit. In addition, it has also received a complete color change. It was originally Aztec Green Pearl, but was recently refinished in Sebring Silver Metallic. Its a well done color change, with very few areas that still show the cars original color. The door jambs, hood, engine bay, etc. were all painted as well. If you didn't know better, you would assume the car came from the factory in this color.

Mechanically, this car is in great shape with zero issues. The motor pulls strong, the transmission shifts smoothly, and the clutch is new. No check engine lights or emissions issues. The previous owner is a Certified Honda mechanic, so you can imagine how well this car has been maintained. I have a stack of service records from Honda, and the Carfax report shows over 30 service records from Honda over the years. The most recent services included a new clutch, head gasket, distributor, starter, timing belt, drive belts, brake pads & rotors, and various gaskets & seals. This is a complete turn-key car with no mechanical issues whatsoever. There is no money to be spent on it. It is absolutely ready to drive.

Cosmetically, this Civic is in much better shape than most others that are available at this point. For being 20 years old, I think you would be hard-pressed to find another this clean overall. As previously mentioned, it has a brand new paint job with OEM Sebring Silver Metallic paint. No dents, dings, scratches, or other damage of any kind. The only blemish on the body is a small spot of rust right above the passenger side quarter wheel well. This car was sold new in Tennessee, and was owned there all its life, so it is NOT a Northern car. There are no other signs of rust or corrosion anywhere else on the car. As most of you know, the quarter panels are the most typical spots for rust issues on these cars, due to a poor water drain design. The interior is in very nice shape for its age with no stains, odors, or excessive wear. All power options function properly, as does the AC.
