    Default NAIZBST lazy build thread....

So I have decided to do a complete rebuild of 97 #305. Por15 and replace all new bushings and everything in between.

    when I got her

    - pulling the LS swap

as she sat for a while

then cleaned the garage some and installed some shop lights

then I started pulling the front suspension and cleaned out the engine bay and interior

    engine bay:

    fender wells:

pulled suspension components to get ready for sandblasting

    after sandblasting

    cleaned and POR15

I took the interior apart and I am going to clean it up a little.

I plan on grinding down the old cage stumps and also deleted the crap alarm install. She is going to get a fresh coat of CW and also an autopower race roll bar

    pics of her interior currently

I also took the rear bumper, tail lights, and center piece off to see how it was since she was repaired in the rear back in 2000

I cleaned her up a little and also ground down some surface rust. I do plan on sanding the rear back down and covering her in por15 and also reapinting her CW!!

I spent the day prepping and por15 the front fender wells

    here is the first coat

then the final coat and finished product.

I also put some por15 on the front lower radiator core support

when it all dries, I will put a top coat in the fender wells to protect it :boobies:

I also took the pedal assemblies apart and cleaned and prepped them for por15 as well since this is a known part to get rust.

    the final product

I also did the abs bracket

    finish product

they do come with a c5 but mine has had a rough life and didn't come with the original motor or trans. It had an LS swap in it.

I have thought about it but I don't have enough room in the garage for one. So I resorted to the hard way.
