Default 1997 Civic Dx w/ JDM B16 Turbo

This is a 1997 Civic Dx . I bought the car out of Atlanta 5 years ago. It has all badges trimmed, and the paint is still in pretty good condition overall. The front bumper does have rock chips bad, and needs respraying. Got quoted 200 to do that. Car runs and drives great. No problems at all since the turbo build last summer. Doesn't use/burn oil. 32+ mpgs every tank, and it has 246 whp on 8 lbs of boost. I have gotten as much as 37 mpg. Only ran 2 passes at Steele since the turbo build with a best time of 13.7 at 104 mph. The car has not been driven hard at all because it is my daily. People I know can vouche for that. Tuned VERY conservatively on Hondata S100 by Jim Helbing at Motorvations Motorsports in Trussville, AL . Could pick up a few hp just by leaning it out some. It has approximately 100k on the motor and transmission, and roughly 10k since the turbo was put on. The chassis has around 175k, but all suspension and tires are new. $5500

    MOTOR/TURBO:

JDM B16A SiR II full swap with LSD tranny. Stock bottom end/head. No check engine lights at all

    Tranny shifts smooth, no grinds.

Motor runs great, no problems at all.

    Walbro 255lph fuel pump

    RC550 injectors

Avid Racing 75A polyurethane motor mounts

Inline-Pro T3 Turbo Manifold (AC Compatible)

    Tial Wastegate (8 lb spring)

    Tial BOV

Godspeed Intercooler and piping (only ebay parts on the build)

Custom made downpipe with wastegate dumptube tied back into it underneath

3" exhaust with Magnaflow muffler (very quiet low tone)

Turbonetics T3 Turbo freshly rebuilt by BNR Supercars in Odenville, AL before installation. .48 ar i believe. Its small, but perfect for this application.

Manual Boost Controller with in cabin controls

Tuned CONSERVATIVELY on 8 lbs, made 246 whp 174 lb-ft tq. It was 101 degrees and high humidity the day I tuned. Pretty sure it makes over 250 on a cooler day.

Recently replaced AC belt and alternator belt.

    SUSPENSION:

Skunk 2 Sport Struts and Eibach Pro-Kit Springs installed Dec 2012

Yokohoma SDrive tires installed April 2012.

Blox Racing Camber Kit on all four corners installed 2 years ago to correct tire wear.

    Car rides very smooth.

    Exterior:

    Spoon style mirrors

    Civic Type-R style front lip

    Mudflaps on rear

    Tinted Windows

Shaved Badges besides Type R Red Honda Emblem on Trunk

    Stanley Side Markers

    HID 8k headlights

Aftermarket Tailights (OEM Style, not euro)

02 Civic Si Wheels refinished in PPG Dark Otter Metallic last week

THE BAD--Rock chips on front bumper
needs good buff to remove bicycle scuff marks on trunk. Have pics on cell phone (not terrible)
    Driver Sidemarker needs new bulb
Typical swirl marks and nicks here and there

    Interior:

    DC Sports Short Shifter

    Red shifter boot

Red door panel inserts (on the car when I bought it)

    Seats in Good Condition

Momo Competition Steering Wheel bought to replace ebay special

    Kicker 12" sub with amp

    Pioneer Radio Face

Custom Gauge cluster in stock radio location

Autometer Ultra-Lite Wideband, Oil Pressure Gauge, and Boost Gauge

AC and Heat work (rare for turbo build)

I have dynamat extreme in the entire cab other than the doors and the trunk. I have a little Dynamat left, but its not enough to cover the doors. Need just a little more.

THE BAD--needs new passenger side seatbelt
    needs passenger side window crank.
Windshield has big crack in it
Interior Panels rattle at idle because of the motor mounts. I have found that most of it comes from the passenger side airbag. The panels also rattle worse with the AC on than without. I put the dynamat in to try to help stop some of this problem. Still needs doors and trunk covered if you want to.
Windows are kind of difficult to roll up and down. I do it everyday though, so it is not that bad. I mostly ride with the window down.

I'm sure there is stuff I have missed, but I cant think of anything. I have tried to be honest about all the negative things with the car. I want to the buyer to know exactly what they're looking at.

I have had this car for 5 years now, and it has come a really long way. I would love to know it is going to a good owner that will continue to carry it in the right direction. I really hate to part with it, but it is time to move on now that I am almost out of college. Call or text David at 205-405-0667 with any questions or concerns. I have pics I can provide. Thanks
