    Default Miami Heat LOL

Jordan would have never twittered Larry Bird and asked him to join teams..... but if he did.......... they probably wouldnt have lost to the Pacers. I'm loving every moment of this series so far..... we have a hard nosed defensive squad that doesnt have a single superstar vs the prima donna Miami Heat. Held to 75 points 2 games in a row.... fighting with the coach.... love it. These arrogant classless jackasses deserve to fail.

"We?" You play for the Pacers?

Sorry, just a petty pet peeve of mine.

As for the series, I'm loving it as well. I have no interest in the Pacers, but I love that the Heat are choking again in the playoffs. Later, QD.

meant it in a "what do we have here" way, not associating myself with the Pacers. I care nothing about the Pacers outside of them beating the Miami Heat.

I see where you're at now. I just like seeing arrogance put down. That's why I don't mind seeing James when he fails. Creating all that unnecessary hype and resentment among fans just to get a ring and still can't come through, lolol.

Sometimes, LeBron, dreams don't come true, lolol.

So many greats in sports history have done this, you know. Dan Marino played all his years with the Dolphins and never collected a ring, for example. One of the games most respected players. Later, QD.

Its like watching the Yankees lose. You know they are the more talented team so it makes it even more fun to watch them fail.

its not about wanting the favorite to lose for me. I dislike the Heat because of what they represent. Lebron played for his home town team and was embraced by all. He walked away from that to seek an easy road to the title. I dont respect the era of sports where players get on twitter and assemble their own teams. No class, no honor.... no loyalty. I would respect Lebron more if he retired in Cleveland and never won a title vs winning 5 titles in Miami.

Nobody has a problem with chris paul doing it. Nobody had a problem with boston adding 3 hall of fame players to add to two more hall of fame players. I just hate it when people say they dont like the heat because lebron went there. If they have a real reason i understand. But boston added ray allen (best 3 point shooter of all time in most peoples minds), kevin garnett ( top 5 PF in history in many minds), with paul pierce ( best celtic of all time in some minds) ...... along with shaq at the end of his career......not a argument against you personally, im just curious when none of the celtics could win a title by themselves, they came together to win and NOBODY said the things they are saying about lebron and company.....

btw they CRUSHED the pacers today. Regardless of how you, me or anybody feels about them they absolutely dominated them today. wade in the 2nd half was nothing short of great. and lebron for the entire game. people are jumping to conclusions very quick. they arent going down this year without a DOG fight. and indiana isnt ready for the passion miami is about to bring upon them.... this is how the year will fold out imo

miami vs boston..... miami in 5 games
spurs vs thunder..... spurs in 5 games

spurs vs miami ....... spurs in 6

its not about changing teams alone...........................................

This would have been like Tim Tebow transferring from Florida his senior year to go play for USC. Some players almost belong to a city....... Lebron was one of those players. When a town builds the practice facility closer to your house to accommodate you, rolls out the red carpet for you in every way, when you're the face of a city, face of a team......... you dont (shouldnt) just chose to leave a team. Lebron left his hometown where he was beloved to go play for the Miami Heat. He spit in the face of his hometown and made a spectacle of it. He's so arrogant that he made a TV show to announce it. Wade Bosh and Lebron do a pro wrestling entrance and say theyre going to win 7 championships before they ever step on a practice court together.

Lebron is the biggest douchebag in the history of our planet. He deserves every ounce of criticism he ever gets.

This is exactly it. It's not that I hate the Heat. It's James that I wouldn't mind seeing fall flat on his face. And because of what he did. And not necessarily what he did, but how he went about doing it. Later, QD.

LOL well you dont walk in the man's shoes. He didnt just join the NBA to play for a city that love's him for his skills and dedication, but he wants to go somewhere he thinks he can win the championship and win a ring. He's worked hard in his life playing basketball most his life, I think he has the decision to do what's best for him. Cleveland I really didnt see as a team that would go all the way even w/ Lebron.

The Bulls were 27-55 the year before they drafted Jordan. Jordan's Bulls were put out in the 1st round the first 3 trips to the playoffs. Jordan lost his first 2 trips to the finals. Great players win championships..... they dont "go somewhere they think they can win a championship".

Lebron is suppose to be the best player in the NBA, suppose to be the next Jordan.....LOL.... some say better than Jordan............ LOL.......................

Lebron's teams havnt won because of Lebron. As much of a stat machine as he is....... he is not a great player that steps up in big games. He's the fastest car in qualifying, he hits everything out of the park in batting practice, he kicks 70 yard field goals in warm ups.... but when the game is on the line he just doesnt have it. Luckily for him, he's now a supporting role on a team that does have someone who is a great player, Dwayne Wade.

Yes, Lebron has the right to do what's best for him, even when its the wrong thing to do and it's not the best thing for thousands of other people. The same way myself and those thousands of other people have the right to think he's a classless arrogant douchebag who tucked tail and ran from a challenge, placing blame any and everywhere but where it belonged which is directly on Lebron himself.

    Respectfully, youre wrong.

Jordan never lost a finals, he won all 6 times he went................First time they went IIRC they beat the aging lakers. The only other modern day player to ever win every finals they were in was Duncan.

The league was different back then too so its hard to compare. The money wasnt as big, the shoe contracts, the TV money, the brand names, etc. Jordan had no reason to leave chicago, he was drafted in what 84? It took him 7 years to win a title. Jordan was also drafted by a major sports city/market. Lebron was drafted in 2003 out of HS (NOT COLLEGE like Jordan), and it took him 6-7 years to get to the finals with arguably the worst team ever haha That was a pretty big accomplishment.

Again i disagree. The 2007 Cavaliers was a hideous team that made it to the NBA Finals to lose to the DUN DUN DUN Spurs. Lebron beat a pretty weak eastern conference but still. He single handedly took that team to the Finals. He almost did it in 2008 again.

The problem with Lebron is the pressure he has of winning a title. Hes overplayed his hand , by talking about championship"S" (plural), like its no big deal. He has said he doesnt want to be the main scorer, he wants to be a magic johnson type of player.

Lebron doesnt have the closer Gene, he doesnt react well under pressure, something Jordan and Kobe did amazingly well their whole career

Dude i see what your saying but that was back in the day. Teams have more than just one superstar, and no one Jorday in this day could take his team to beat a well teamed Heat w/ 3 or more Jordans on it eh. Heat, Lakers have so many superstars. Its not like back in the day yo trust me. Takes more than just one superstar to win the ring now.

    sigh

No one is pissed at Lebron for him leaving Cleveland. IT WAS THE WAY HE LEFT CLEVELAND, it was the way he just sat there, smugly smiled and said "Im going to a better team".

It was the way he treated Dan Gilbert, it was the way he treated the city (that just happened to be his native state, i mean how often does that happen where an athlete gets drafted by a home town team??) , it was THE DECISION by publicizing it, etc. It was the 3 years of lead up where it was obvious he wade and bosh all conspired to make it happen.

Again i dont care he LEFT cleveland, but the spectacle he made it was what the backlash was about. If he just said "i dont know what im going to do", then came out and released as tatement saying "i feel like Miami is the best place for me to win a championship, and thats where i want to go" no one would have said ANYTHING outside the occasional "WAHHHH HE LEFT CLEVELAND " bullshit.

But when you speak in the 3rd person and throw a national media event to say "im taking my talents to south beach" and then proceed to have the most awkward interview ever, he deserved all the backlash.

LOL AT "HEAT DOMINATED THE PACERS TODAY".

Miami has zero chance at a title without bosh and with their horrid bench shooting 18% from 3 point range. Lebron had 40 and Wade had 30 and they BARELY won, they didn't crush them. Indiana was within 5 with 1:15 to go.

If lebron and Batman have to score 70 points for you to win, you're screwed. Indiana wins this series, they are the better team by far.

People, like myself, who don't watch basketball can even understand the hate toward LeBron. QD and Sinflix have stated the reasons well... And I agree with them.

Lebron gets a ton of bad press, the way he made his spectacle of announcing the decision was wrong. But you guys realize that it raised over 1 million dollars in advertising revenue that he donated to the Boys and Girls club of America which built 13 new facilities in and around Cleveland.

The attitude of pretty much guaranteeing they were going to win 6-7 titles was ill advised. Clearly after last year he's been humbled by that.

I don't think he deserves the hatred anymore

I wouldn't laugh too hard. They Dominated on the boards, and dominated the paint. If you've ever played basketball, you know that 3 point shooting doesnt tell you the story of the game. They allowed the heat to cut and slash to the rim the entire game. And the few times they actually missed, they were grabbing rebounds.

Are you SURE you have indiana winning this series? Remember indiana has played their best basketball in just about every game, the heat's supporting cast hasnt played well. when they go back to miami the bench will step up. indiana will not win another game, and they DEFINITELY wont win 2 of the next 3 being in miami. wishful thinking vteckidd.

Do people not remember what the cleveland cavaliers were when he got there? They were the laughing stock of the nba. Lebron generated HUGE amounts of business for the city and the restaurants and bars near the arena. They should be thanking him for his time and excitement he brought during his time. He signed a contract, finished the contract and decided he wanted to leave a franchise who would not bring him a good supporting cast of players. Don't get me wrong, im not a lebron fan. My 2 favorite players are wade and chris paul. But burning a mans jersey, the city of cleveland should have been embarrassed...... btw, lebron is from akron NOT cleveland. If you've ever been there you know the difference. I was born and raised in detroit, mi..... MUCH different from lansing. so quit saying cleveland was his home people, it wasnt.

I hate it when people get so serious about the 6-7 titles thing. You can tell he was just speaking and hyping the crowd, and that guarantee isnt that far fetched anyhow. These guys are young and reached the nba finals their first year. last year was not a bad year, they finally got past the all mighty boston celtics who had 5 HALL OF FAME PLAYERS in their starting lineup at one point. And yes he has been humbled, they have fury and fight now!!! as we saw yesterday..........

Did you even watch the game? They didn't dominate anything until Hibbert was in foul trouble and sat most of the third quarter.

And by "dominating" you mean the 6-9 rebound + the entire game with their #1 center in the bench for 2 bullshit foul calls?

Wade and LBJ played great, but they wont play like that for 2 games straight we all know that. Indiana lost that game by shooting jump shots instead of going inside like they did in game 2+3. They will do that in game 5 an you'll have to have another phenomenal game from Wade and LBJ to win.

Miami's weaknesses are there, Indiana has the weapons to capitalize on them.
Miami has to have production from someone other than the big 2, CONSISTENTLY. they get that they can win, so far that hasn't happened. 1 game isn't a series.

I picked SA VS IND in the finals actually. I had IND beating Miami to get to ECF. Bosh injury was luck I guess. I just don't think Miami is good enough, their bench sucks.

Miami has out themselves in a MUST WIN situation in every game. We know lebron doesn't respond well to pressure at all. He or Wade have 1 bad shooting 3rd/4th quarter and its over.

Thanks for the history lesson, I never sad where he was "from" , I just said the decision debacle, and yes it was a horrible PR move, had good intentions on his part.

Even if Miami wins they will get gang raped by the spurs.

I don't think he deserves the hatred anymore
Lebron giving 1 mil to charity is about like me tipping a waitress a dollar. He is humbled???? he was just on camera the other day saying how a pacers player didnt deserve to be commented on by him..... when the Pacers were up 2-1....

If Lebron sounds humble at any moment.... its probably because he's being coached to do so relentlessly. The guy doesnt have a classy bone in his body. So what if he gave money to charity..... the NBA all but requires you to give money to charity..... name one player who doesnt give money to charity????

    This guy is humble?

I think you missed the point. There was a bench warmer (Stevenson) who flashed the choke sign at lebron when he was shooting free throws. The Guy hasn't played 1 minute all playoffs. So a 3rd string bench warmer flashing "choke" was just funny even if it was true.

The reporter asked LBJ to comment and he said he wasn't going to comment on a 3-4th string player, and he shouldn't. He's the reigning MVP, no question he's in a different class.

The coughing thing last year bit him in the ass when Dirk won.

I think he's def more humble this year.

Even if indiana wins, I doubt they will beat boston. But there is no need to discuss that, they won't beat miami.

Indiana is the best team in the east left right now. They are BIG, PHYSICAL, tons of offensive weapons.

I would never bet 100% against LBJ, but I don't see them winning this series.

Its clear the winnercof okc/spurs will be your NBA champion

I still think indiana is behind boston. Garnett will bring hibbert out the paint, eliminating their blocked shots. But the spurs will be our champions. Spurs vs miami in finals. We can only wait and see what happens homie....

How do u see the miami vs indiana series playing out..... who wins which games....

Its a tough call, if MIami wins game 5, its going to 7 games. If Indiana wins Game 5, Miami will have played their last game at home this season.

I always said Indiana in 6. I think Indiana will come out and win game 5 in Miami by going with the formula that has worked for them all season. Pound the paint, spread the floor. They have to limit their turnovers, and personally id let LBJ go off, just shut everyone else down.

Lets assume BOston beats 76ers, i think Indiana is just younger and more physical, and they have better shooters

I respect that, although I think game 5 will go a different way. I think lebron and wade will attack the rim early and get hibbert in foul trouble which will limit his minutes the entire game. I think mike miller, jones, and chalmers will knock down a few threes a piece. I got miami by 10 points in game 5......

And I think rondo, garnett, and pierce would dominate the pacers. Granger historically gets dominated by pierce. And obviously there is no answer for rondo on the pacers defense...

the problems i have with the heat is really their Mental State. I just dont know if they have the mental toughness to dig themselves out of a late game hole. Miami COULD be up 3-1 right now except for LBJ bricking 2 free throws and Wade blowing a late game layup. That cannot happen in playoff basketball. Look at OKC and the Spurs, they capitalize on every big game situation. To me that is the mark of championship team.

Mike Miller is severely hobbled, his back is shot, his ankle/knees are bad, he looked barely able to run on sunday. Battier is throwing shit against a brick wall with his shooting. The only person that REALLY responded to pressure was Haslem and i REALLY Like haslem. But hes not going to get it done. LBJ and Wade have to score 60-70 points, and i just dont know if that is possible consistently. Just my opinion. LBJ is the best player on the planet, but he also disappears at times.

Indiana just seems much more consistent to me, and being consistent is what wins IMO.

Indiana just has to play GOOD basketball, Miami has to have people step up that havent stepped up all year, and they are down 1 superstar in bosh. MIami has to have monumental performance to win.

    Advantage Indy :P

Chalmers played very well game 3. And he plays much better at home. Look out for a big game from him again too......

He did but Wade had worst game of his career. That's my point. Miami has to have big games from 2 superstars, and somebody else who is inconsistent.

Indiana can beat you with 5-6 different players.

You have it wrong. Okc has no chance. Spurs are our champs.

I give them one game. Which in my opinion is the true definition of no chance.

They played 3 games vs San Antonio this season, ALL without manu ginobili! And they went 1-2. The game they won, tony parker left the game in the 3rd quarter, which okc went on a 25-8 run as he exited.

The second game, tony parker torches them for 42 points and 9 assists in a blowout game. They were winning by 24 points in the 3rd quarter.

The third game, san antonio was up 27 points at one point in the 2nd quarter, and still up 20 at one point in the 3rd quarter IN OKC arena.

I think they have NO answer for tony parker, and now manu will be playing too. and will do great matching hardens scoring and slashing ability off the bench.

OKC will win game 3 or 4. but thats all. imo.

    BTW.... indiana is done....

I can't be wrong when I didn't make an definite claim. I said "either" team will be the champs. And it is so. Neither Miami, Philadelphia, Boston nor Miami has what it takes to stop either of those teams. Later, QD.

Miami is one of the best defensive teams in the nba. I wouldn't go that far...... and there is no telling what lebron/wade/bosh will do on any given day...... im just anxious to see it!
