Default Engine is ideling rough??? runs super rich?? 92 integra ls

Alright well we took the integra to Firestone to get an alignment and decided to let them change the water pump and timing belt. Went to pick it up a few days later the lady basically gave us the keys back and was like OH yea the two mechanic's took your car for a test drive and now its like a race car now. Said the previous owner had advanced the timing to cover what was wrong with the engine. ( Before i took it to them it was running fine) Now it seems like it wants to die when i sit at a red light but when i drive it drives smooth but it runs super rich and shoots out black smoke. so i called there main office yada yada supervisor will be in contact with you ect. so i took it to the mall of Ga Firestone they did a complete engine check said there is oil and water in cylinder 4 and my whole bottom end needs to be rebuilt? Anyone on IA might know what could of caused it? * I think they test drove it and dogged my shit out and broke something*

Sounds like they dont have it timed properly. Good reason why you dont have a TIRE SHOP do engine work on your car.

First off, its COMPLETE auto care. We're not labelled as a strict tire shop anymore. Its the same as any strict engine shop, you have good techs and bad techs. In fact, two other teammates at our store are master technicians. And we all have ASE's except our general service guy. So,....

Now, OP, this is what you NEED to do.

Call the store you had the work done at our any Firestone of that matter and get the number to contact John White. He is the district manager for the whole South East region. Call, explain your situation, and if you let him no your pissed, they WILL fix your car for free! I promise you the store manager of the first store will not want to hear from John more than once of your situation.

PS: You did not hear anything of this from me. lol

I know one of the guys up at the mall of Ga store. Pretty good tech. Red hair and glasses. But, keep nagging and they'll fix your shit. Trust me, I do free work all the time for mess ups at other stores. lol

yup they fuck up your car..if your cam was crooked wouldn't it be ticking or making some wear noise when the engine is running....they blew the headgasket when they dogg the shit out of your car and probably warp the head too.
