Are you sure those were powder coated and not spray painted ? The color is uniform but what got painted on some and not on others makes me wonder

why did you powdercoat them? and did they sand them before they powdercoated them? basically, is the machine finish on the lip still machined or is it sanded down?

oh yeah, and those look very very spray painted. There is overspray on the plastic man. If you sprayed them, just tell us you sprayed them. If you had them powdercoated can you please supply the reciept from the place that did the work.

I like them, but, seems kinda weird that in the picture the whole rim isnt colored, why would they bake them twice or more, i don't know much about powder coating process, but have seen powder coating before and they looked sprayed to me, even looks like a little overspray from one of them in the top left, if they weren't sand blasted down then the coating would be not to par. why would there be a spray pattern on the sides if they were powder coated?

they are clean, no one is arguing the fact of if they are clean or not, but saying they are powdercoated just doesn't hold water in this situation, the pictures tell a very different story than what is being advertised.

turbotegg- dude i'm really really not hating on you i promise, i am actually very interested in these wheels. I used to own a set and yes they are pretty rare wheels. If you are str8 up with me about what the finish is on them i'll make you a cash offer.

i called the place south east coatings on ledo road in albany ga

he said they were powdercoated so i broght up what you guys were saying and he then told me they were sprayed with an automotive paint and cleared he claims that he couldnt get the color i wanted in stock so he did what he had to get them to me in time,

he also said if i wanted them black or white he woudl redo them for free

they were sandblasted by a company called our equipment i know that for sure cause they were some fucked up orange color when i got them

better pic of the face and lip

i like them but i am going back to my 19" racing hart c2's

they look good, I just didnt think they were powdered, he should have been straight with you from the beginning. Bump for nice rims, sorry I dont drive a four lugger, but if I did I would consider these, even painted. to be honest with you, that face picture doesnt look to great, might just be the texture, around the hub and then further out towards the lip looks like paint runs or something. If I payed for that job I would have to ask for him to redo them in black. If you are interested I know a guy that can do an awsome dark gun grey powdercoating, I havent talked to him in a while , so I would need to make sure he still has that powder

Would the place that painted them do bronze power coating (you said that he said that he would do black or white...why not a bronze he does have)?

look at the plastic, there is spray paint on it, those wheels were 100% not powdercoated, if you paid for them to be powder coated, you got ripped off, those are spray painted.

If you can get them powder coated black for free, then I would be interested in a trade.

I got a set of 18' 4x100 enkei pk6 with nitto tires. I paid 1,100. I'll trade you these for your rims podercoated black and $100. They are in perfect condition and were only on my car for 1,500 miles. I need smaller wheels after losing turbo.

contact me via email at [email protected]

I don't have pics but here is an example
