92 Integra Help.

I have a 92 Integra GS 1.8 Liter. My car keeps turning off randomly when I'm driving it. My RPM will bounce around from 4,000 and goes down to 0 back and fourth. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? I just change out my catalytic converter, replaced value cover gasket and spark plugs. Thank you.

Coil in dizzy could be going bad or ignition control module

I just check the dizzy. Seems to fine, a bit of carbon built up but it looks good for the most part. How can you tell if the ignition control module is bad?

Does it skip any? Could be ecu also even though u may not have a check engine light
There should be a plug down under pass side dash 2 wire with a plug end get a paper clip cross them over
Look at the little glass part on ecu with if ignition on count the red light

I just recently replaced my ecu about 5 months ago and I just got another one yesterday. The problem was the ecu going bad. Drove about 60 miles today and the car was fine. Thanks again guys.
