Couple of option... Good for DD and pump gas!

    BC makes an econo rod..
RS machine, Nippon, or even Honda Piston.. 11:1-12:1..
ITR or better cam shaft (Skunk2 tuner 3, or Pro1-2) Even a Blox C or pro1-2..
Springs Retainers, and Valves (skunk2, ferrea)
Intake choice would be Skunk2 or AEBS..
    Hytech, Rmf, TODA, smsp header..

Wanna make power, there you go.. Wanna go cheap then good luck...LOL

my suggestion is to make sure whoever is building it knows what they are doing. bolt ons and go fast parts are useless if the engine is assembled improperly

The block I have is a jdm b18b with a b16 head that is lsvtec ready. The head was allready intalled in an ls block but my friend spunn a bearing, but iam getting head ressurfaced.and am putting the block together my self I've built all motor ls but never done an ls vtec so I figuered I take a chance on my spare jdm block that's just collecting dust.lol

You need a new crank if it spun a bearing.

you've built a all motor LS? the real question is how did that motor run? if good then go for it with this new engine build.. like the previous posters stated if you are tearing the bottom end apart you should get at bare minimum ARP rod bolts and a Vtec oil/water pump.

My motor that I built is still running I done put 150k on it and sttill has hell of power.the only reason am building this because I have a spare jdm b18 block and I ran into a really good deal ona b16 head that's ls vtec ready
