DUDE we told you already, what your car needs, in your other thread, there is no seperate ecu/tcu. Its all controlled within the factory ECU on a Civic.

No its best to consult people, and get a person you trust to diagnose your vehicle. However here is some info to better equip you with your future to getting your vehicle serviced.

Your particular vehicles transmission is controlled with the Engine control unit, It integrates the transmissions sensors w/ the engines into one control module where it is all taken care of.
More than likely you will have to replace the whole transmission, you can find one on the streets for 200$ ish, or get a remanufactured one somewhere in the neighborhood of 400-900 $. The labor to change it out shouldnt be more than 400$, Also wherever you take it may just want to check and make sure the shift solenoids etc are working properly.

Does the car's D lights blink etc?
