    Default help:97 accord inner tie rod removal problem

    well im working on a 97 accord and the "inner tie rod" is really messed up.. the balljoint on the inner tie rod keeps spining when i try too loosen it..what should i do?need advice asap!!!thanks ia

    You sure the INNER rod is bad? They usually dont go bad bro..

    Take the OUTER one off.. Then check for In/out movement on the Inner.. If it doesnt move In/Out.. Then you are good to go.. If it moves..

    ALL you need is 22mm and 17 mm.. and do some Double Wrenching, to get them off.

    I tried to explain it to ya, over the phone.. Not sure If you got what I was saying.. Since that was last week..LOL

    O yea.. count your teeth, or Mark them with white out.. Install as close as possible, Then go get an Alignment.

    yeah i know all of that,the inner tie rod is bad...outer tie rod is also bad...remember the car got hit on the driver side it damaged both of the ball joints on the tie rods and i found out i have the wrong tool and cant find it anywhere....

    also the sway bar link bushing are tore up, so yeah....and its raining and i have no garage fml

    well autozone,oreilly,advance doest have the correct tool
