    I'm running a p30 ecu in my 96 coupe
    D16y8 obd2 obd1 conversion harness
    Does everything operate correctly
Seems to be running good for I just did not know
If it good for? Seems to kinda load up on gas at idle?

thats a b16 ecu may be rich due to being a dohc engine the maps are different. is it the rectangular long one or the jdm square one? i have a p28 thats considered too lean i might swap you out of a single cam vtec in my car right now and i have ls vtec so it would kinda be a beneficial swap foe the both of us!

your ecu is fine just get it tuned or chipped for your set up . But the P30 is getting harder to fine so don't just give it away

yeah that's the JDM even harder to fine I would not sale it , but it's also a waste with that motor . Honestly to chip it and everything you will spend more then you would to trade for the correct ecu P28

thats what i have and was trying to tell you! i had one years ago and swapped it for a chipped p28 because i went boost and the jdm ecu doesnt have a barometric sensing software to determine oxygen at different altitudes! but all motor and for a stock ecu my ls vtec before the turbo in my other car felt better with the p30. i got all kinds of stuff b/c my bro wrecked his sohc d16z6 vtec car if you want mine let me know and we can work some stuff out! plus jdm p30s cost more to chip i think p28s i can get done for $80 and p30s are 100-120 depending if there jdm or usdm!
