Default ?????????H23 VTEC or H22 VTEC??????????

hey i got me a 96 honda prelude si with a H23a1 in it. i just got me another prelude with the H22a1 in it and i wonder is it better/cheaper to do a h22 swap or to keep my h23 block and transmission and just get the head of the h22 and put it into my h23 block and turn it into H23 VTEC....????

its basically a drop in, just one requires a lil more work, I would go for the H23 vtec but really all depends on what your plans are

I would not suggest any kind of Frankenstein-ing of these two motors. Do some research and you will find that they are notoriously unreliable. H22 rocks- why not go all the way?

Neither. Just Turbo the H23 go all motor with the H22 and get it tune by Mainstream like my cousin Jamie(H23Accord-T) you'll have the best of both worlds. And rock out with your cock out

well you could go all out with your h23 and then sell me your h22 for my accord, then you would have more money to throw in yours. see it will work out for both of us. hehe
