lol sounds like he led the wrong laps. Not being a dick or anything, I've just been personally interested in how these new Mustangs will fare at the track with the vast improvements Ford has made.

Turner/Dalla Lana/Auberlen are leading the series. They won the last race and got 2nd in this. It will be a good battle this year for sure. Last year the Ford's simply just broke down too much. Should be good competition. I think he was just poking some fun and I don't mind. Love to talk racing Last years Fall-Line won with a BMW M3. They haven't really been quite as dominate this year but they are a good team and they'll be back strong. Can't wait for the next races.

Don't know about vast improvements really. They could run with the M3s just fine until they broke down. They had a lot of engine problems last year. Appears those were fixed as they have broke down much less.

Give me a few minutes... I'll post some Ford stuff... I usually just take a couple as the body looks amazing in race trim but the ride height for them to handle properly is 4x4 status... stay tuned.

    .

Just curious, where are you getting your info from? Last time I checked last years standings they held their own pretty well all year long and had strong finishes? Albeit always in contention with the M's.

supposedly last year the Mustangs took first and second in the same venue.

Dont get me wrong , I have a strong respect for any well built prepped race car including BMWs, no matter the brand, but I dont go around touting a brand just because.

I photograph the races? And go to them? There were many times that a Ford was doing very well and had some issue. In 2010 a BMW M3 won 6 races. A Ford Mustang won 3 and a Porsche 1. If you look at top 3 finishes BMW M3s had 18 top 3 finishes. Ford Mustang had 7. Couple Camaros and couple Porsches. The Mustangs definitely like Barber as last year they finished 1-2 and this year got the pole and the win. You act like I don't have respect for them. I do... I mean hell I use Continental Tire results to show that Mustangs can run with BMWs when people knock them.

I am a BMW fan though. I shoot for 2 BMW magazines and a BMW Team. Not going to apologize that I like them more.

Wasnt expecting an apology , nor was I asking for one. I was simply asking to keep your facts as facts. Theres enough ignorance to go around in all automotive communities. ( Not saying you specifically, just in general) +45 for the great photos, I have some sweet desktop pics to use at work now
