its a waste of money going d2b.
you might as well use the money for the conversion plate on b series long block and etc.
d series gearing isnt too bad
first - good luck finding a d to b adapter plate, as very few were ever made until it was discovered it was pointless...
as 2000ex said, there are enough d series transmissions to choose from that you will find one to suit what you are wanting. plus, you can trade your b series trans for a d series plus cash, if that is your logic in wanting a d to b.
You're right - I have no idea what I'm talking about...
stick with d series tranny to save u the trouble
lolz a OEM reproduction clutch will be fine for a mini me, and there are plenty d-series trans to go with
1990 Honda CRX Si (sold)
1991 Honda Hatchback Si (sold)
1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S
^FTW
Use the Ex/Si trans, it has great gearing. I had a mild built "D" back in the day and with that trans and a stg3 clutch it would spin 2nd, bark 3rd and chirp 4th all day. Use p29 pistons if your going inside the block and a Y8 or Kometic Head gasket. There are even jdm LSD "D" series trans too. Good luck.

ok so screw the bseris tranny
there yall go, if your going d, go d all the way, if b, go b all the way.ok so screw the bseris tranny
the only time you need conversion plate is h2b.
d can handle just fine power,

stock jdm d15b vtec, intake/header/exhaust.
street tires(hx rims), 50 shot of nitrous, ran 14.9 un-tune, gutted rear seat
you cant chirp in the rain matter of fact.VTECCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCcc.......... 4th chirp, it was raining
i dont care if he can or can not, chirping dont make you any faster.
I like your style ^^^^ TRUE!! It ran low 14's

ok so far i got the z6 head for nothing, almost new camshaft for nothing, valve cover for $15, intake mani for $15, currently tryn to find fuel rail, injectors, dizzy and vtec solinoid. prolly gonna order new valves, valve springs and retainers and then take the head to a machine shop and have them work there magic. anyone got anything?
should have just bought a complete z6 head for under 100 bucks lol but whatever.
the head is fine im just gonna go ahead and replace the valvetrain while its out. it has the valves and springs in it but why not put some performance valves, springs and retainers?
