    h2b or regular h22 swap?

I'm thinking you should be seeing better times if you had a b-series transmission.

When the h22 trans bites it or a axle does, a h2b setup will follow. May go back this weekend to see if I can get it to hook and try for a better time.

Pick up a set of used 22" slicks for the low. I bet you hit 12's before you get a B trans if you practice driving it.

I've exchanged pms and texts with jones... he says get some slicks for it. Lol

Goal is 13.4 on the dr's with just bolt ons. After that I might get some slicks so I can spray it from the gate and go for 11's.

With the goals you're pushing for if you're using oem axles it's only a matter of time. Normally the h22 transmission is awkwardly placed in the engine bay making odd axle angles. More power = more problems for that angle. Kickass though, if you're loving it now wait until you get a solid b-series transmission and maybe a limited slip.

    Hoe snappies.

M2b4 is factory lsd tranny. B series will be better though.

When I did the header I noticed the angle of axles and it doesn't look good. When they do break, time for an upgrade.

Im running them akwardly placed h22 tranys with stock axles lol. Ive broke one in three years and that was with drag radials not slicks . As lond as you preload you will be fine .By the way the one axle that i broke was a damn 400hp and the oriely one that nemo gave me at import show down is still kicking it lol. I know a tone of people running mid tens with stock axles as long as you preload and if you dont know how odds are you or going to break something weither you upgrade axles are not.

Car runs good though i think i run mid 13s with every stock h22 setup i have ever done with stock m2b4 trany plus slicks .

252plus hp and 34.5 miles to the gallon all motor. 12.2 at 111
