Well some of you know I sold the 08 GSXR 1000. I didn't wait long to get something else. I went back to my 1st love-YAMAHA! I searched and searched for a blk/gold 08 R1 but the stars never aligned. After 5 deals falling through I got my hands on this beauty. Its a 2008 Candy Red Yamaha R1. Mods so far:

6k HID kit
Puig Dark Smoke Double Bubble Windscreen
HEL steel braided brake lines(front/rear)-not installed yet
Motul RBF 600 brake fluid
flush mount blinkers
T-Rex Frame sliders
Gregg's Customs Integrated Taillight
Fender eliminator delete
BMC Race Filter
Roth Industries Smog Block offs
PC3-not tuned yet
Ignition Module
Akrapovic EVO full titanium exhaust
Dunlop Q2 tires

I still have tons more parts to order and install before the season starts. These are the initial pics. I'll update this thread as I get off my lazy ass and install parts.

There do seem to be a lot of Yamaha riders on here.

I like the black and gold color scheme also, but red is the second choice and is always solid.

Thanks, I'm really thinking of being the dumbass and trying to sell these fairings complete and putting some extra $ on top of it and getting a brand new blk/gold fairing set out of the dealer. The Raven color scheme keeps calling my name!
