Yes this meet is still alive and yes the fayette crowd does have older folks in it as well since you have alot of retired delta and ford plant people but its still a good meet if you know how to appreciate nice cars this meet is worth going to, but if its not your taste you dont have to come also starting in mid october we will be meeting at the Metro Sports Bar Billiards on sundays from 2pm to 7pm they are going to have all day pool for $5 on sundays plenty of parking spaces, its the next light after the oreilly auto parts but before the QT stop light its actually that plaza on the right after oreilly auto parts if your traveling south on Ga 85 towards fayetteville, the pool hall is on the far right corner of the plaza

PS note this would be an entirely new meet location and we need your support to make it happen and to those who dont want to be around muscle cars be reasured not very likely there will be any out here for the simple fact that this meet is originated in here

Meet went well even seen nearly a dozen ImportAtlanta stickers out there so its a start. I stepped down from trying to rally this meet cause frankly it shouldn't be a dramatic thing it shouldn't be stressful for me or any one else. I got a bit upset on one of the other forums cause you have people that went 2wks ago and don't plan on going back only sticking their nose in specifically to tell others not to go. I realize i made a mistake by maybe saying it in the forum and i apologize there's better ways to handle it than to put it out in public should have just IM'ed the person.

Adding insult to injury is other people jumping in and attacking me or trying to belittling me when clearly 1) its none of their business 2) i have never come out the side of my neck to any of these folks. Ofcourse they use the ever popular argument uh uh you misspelled a word or you forgot a period witch is only more irritating, so on top of having to persuade you fine folks to come join us with out the triple teams I'm also having to explain to the fine folks at Partners Pizza what kind of crowd I'm trying to attract. Ofcourse they look at us kind of funny when we show up when they see some of the antics that happen on the forums, I'm very familiar with every one at Partners they know me i know them.

So for me to be responsible or even show my face and say I'm a small part of the reason why some people discovered and now go to this meet with the way some of us act to include my self at times I'm sorry but I'm not ready or willing to that at this time. The billiards meet is how ever my original idea i would like to carry it out and like to see it happen but at the moment i feel like i have a bulls-eye on my forehead so i will start that meet based on your responses. These meets where originally thought to be once a month at partners but it grew fast and maybe not fast enough for the tuner crowd even though like i said we was out there in numbers today, but maybe it was an idea before its time tuners and muscle cars and imports.

Once again i will put forth the effort at the billiards meet that's all ya can ask me to do is try id like to start it next Sunday and maybe make it weekly even if it is just 10 of us, but i will start a new thread on that. As the economy cooperates my future plans include opening my own shop and having specially geared towards tuners and meets etc. It benefits me so much to communicate with the people here and appreciate all ya support and positive reinforcement . I apologize to any one ahead of time who may not of have licked anything i said or took it the wrong way, once again i do not come on here to spit on any ones meets or their cars, my goal right now is to kick off the billiards meet successfully.
