Default Mirror Detailing - Nissan GTR

Did this GTR back in early May for full paint correction. Owner had been using another detailer up his way for biweekly wash and waxes and did not realize the guy was ruining the paint. From 2 months of improper washing and then going to the track multiple times the car pretty much needed a full correction again. Instead just opted for 95% correction since it was seeing the track more and more often.

When I finished half way at around 12-1am:

    After:

    Reflections:

You notice the road rash here that was being covered by all the scratches.

Black is such a hard color to keep perfect though. After a couple washes I'm sure it will have light swirls again; probably not as bad as before though.

Correct. These have hard clears on them, but they act like soft clears. So its easy to marr the paint from improper washing as the guy he was using proved many times over.

You are one bad mofo! How often do you recommend waxing a new car? I'm about 2 times a year on the cube.

Road rash is not generally something you want to touch up. I now the same method she would probably use to feel it in and unless it was done multiple times, with sanding in between and then the same method used with clear ran over the area it would not look that good.

Depends on the type of wax, how often the vehicle is driven, washed, what condition it is kept in.
