Post up pics of the bike w/ the new exhaust. I sold my 08 GSXR 1000 and I bought a 08 Yamaha R1. I'll post up pics after the initial mods.

The R1 is getting a little prep just like you. Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend and I'll post up pics.

To most normal riders...we find that annoying and ugly. Most of us spend hundreds and hundreds on our perfected flowing exhausts. Every once in awhile I will pull my Leo muffler off and go cruising. lol.

hahahahaha! That is great sounds epic! +reps. ^^this made me lolz.

Nah I rly can appreciate a well-engineered exhuast, it's essential to any bike! I just REALLY wish Leo Vince wasn't blue and yellow! Wish it was more low-profile but to each.

Their sticker is the only thing that is blue and yellow....Their muffler bracket is the only thing I cant stand for the 06 r6. Mine will be flat black power coated this winter. Got a lot more mods in store.

~i installed new black forks a few days ago and I was having a braking issue...so I decided to yank the front wheel....One of my wheel bearings just fell apart and tore up the insides. arg. Wheel should be ok but I need a new axle~

edit- check my sig, thats my Leo flat black painted

There you go, I think the flat black looks a LOT better lol..

Are the black forks performance type? Or just OEM black replacements?

And dang good thing somethin else didn't go worse with the front wheel bearings!

That R6 looks damn good Ant. I'll be getting some pics of my R1 up soon hopefully, it's pretty stock... just GYT-R slip on, Ti header, PC5, dyno tune, 520 conversion with 16/47 sprockets, lots of CF, Conti Attacks, Vortex sliders, and Superbike Italia suspension work.

How'd you get a PC5 to work on your 04 R1 or did you mean PC3?

I'm not doing my tear down yet, still praying for atleast one more good ride. Staying simple this winter, powdercoat the wheels, powdercoat the stock rearsets, CRG levers, Vortex mirror blockoffs, service the forks/rear shock, and check all the valves.

I have nothing left that I can do to my bike, so it is staying in the garage when it is too cold. Not planning to do anything but change the oil.
