    Default Cable B16 Tranny with KAAZ LSD

    I have a Cable B16 trans for sale. It has a KAAZ LSD in it. Very aggressive diff, very slight grind in high rpms in 3rd. Comes with BRAND NEW clutch disk. $700 obo.

    why does it grind in high rpms only on 3rd?

    probably a synchro, or a sleeve that has slightly worn teeth, you dont buy a diff if you dont plan on using it do ya?

    the 3rd gear synchro is the one that gets abused the most and rumor has it is the weakest. I will personally put my guarantee that this transmission is PERFECT. it doesnt pop out of gear, it only grinds in HIGH RPMs (8000+) and the transmission was always run with synchromesh.

    You wont find a cable tranny in this good a condition with a $900 KAAZ Diff. the DIFF ALONE is worth more than what hes selling the entire tranny for.

    Put it on Honda-Tech charles, youll get $800 for it

    how much is it to fix 3rd gear if its worth fixing it

    synchros set is about $150 and about another $150 to install.
