aight, first off i love my car. it resently burned a valve. i had it posted for 7k but i dont want to spend more money fixing it. i just want to get a new car. to replace a valve and do the whole job will cost about 650. car still starts and runs but has 70 psi comprssion in cylinder 3. all others are 165psi.

i want to sell the car as is!!!!

starting price is $5900 obo. i will consider trades
all you have to do is replace the valve for 650 including labor!!

what makes you think its a burnt valve instead of a popped piston??

A burnt valve will usually yield 0 compression as its going out the "burnt" part. I would lean towards it being a cracked ringland, or broken piston. even if they are aftermarket, unless you bent a valve, just my 2 cents, I like this car now that its painted.. looks 100x better.

LEak down test leaned towards the valve. Could be bent or broke. Last time I burnt a valve in my couple there was just a small piece of valve missing and did 60 psi on comp test. I could be wrong but I'm almost sure it's a valve

ive seen many burnt valves with 60-70 ponds of compression but like he said could be either i got a camera that could tell you might be easier to sell just bring it by the shop if you in macon.

damn man a burnt valve on a low mileage build that SUX!!! hey did you hear someone vandalized my ride 3 weeks ago(i think i know who it is) let me borrow the turbo if it will fit mine!!! LOL i wonder what mine would do with just 7 lbs of boost. pm me i'll tell you what happened and what may happen since this guy may have made me lose compression.
