Default H22 IN AN INTEGRA QUESTION

    THINKING ABOUT GETTING A H22.

    WILL EVERYTHING PLUG RIGHT UP?

AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERANT BETWEEN H22,H22A,H22A1

I GOOGLE THIS ALREADY BUT HOW CAN YOU TELL IF THE H22 IS A OBD1 OR OBD2??

If I'm correct, there is NO H22. The other two exists. H22a is a Japanese motor and the h22a1 is from the 4th gen preludes, which have slightly less HP compared to the H22a.

To answer your question a little, if you get the same OBD as your car, yes just about everything will plug in. Easiest way to tell if an engine is OBD1 or 2 is the dizzy plug. The H22A1 is OBD1, A4's are from the last body style prelude. I'd suggest doing an H2B over a straight H22 swap anyday though, not a fan of those cable shifted trannies.
