Arrow ~~~ OBD2A and OBD2B motor harness. Are they the same? ~~~

On a OBD2A and OBD2B motor harness, like in a Si or EX, I was wondering what the difference is? The plugs right? Could I use a 99-00 Civic EX automatic engine harness on a B16A 5 speed swap?

You can use either harness, it just depends on the car and ecu you are using. The only differences are plug locations, and the ecu plugs are different

Its going to be used in a 99 Civic LX. I found a place in Texas to has 3rd gen OBD2 B16A with 5 speed tranny and ECU for $2400. shipped. Thats what I will be putting in the 99 LX. But a 99-00 EX auto harness will work with what I have planed right? Im thinking the only thing would be that there would be a few plugs that may not get used due to it being made for an auto transmission.
