    Default replacing BROKEN WHEEL STUDS???? 99 CIVIC

    THIS IS A BITCH! ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS? I BOUGHT THE LUGS ANDSTUDS SO IT MUST ABLETO BE DONE BUT THERE ISNT A VISIBLE WAY TO EXTRACT OR REPLACE. ( I AM NOT A BEGINNER)

    * DO I NEED A PRESS?

    Would that not make the studs have a weak spot by grinding off part of the head? Seems like a half ass way to do it. I have always done it by removing the hub...you may need to install new bearings but things get done properly.

    not really cant count the how many ive done like that. no problems ever.

    lol, i laughed pretty hard at that comment! dude, beat the old ones out and beat the new ones in!,if its the rear.just take the whole hub off,its easy.i replace all 4 on the front of a ef civic in like 10 minutes

    The EJ chassis is not the same as yours. The hub actually needs to be removed to change the fronts. The rear however can be done caveman style.

    how do i get a press thing to get the hubs off! does someone have one i can borrow for a few PBRs? lol

    Agreed, I did 4 (or so) of my wheel studs like this & have been riding for years with no problems.

    yea on the ej chassis its easier and faster to remove the hub in the front. Replace bearings while your there! IT will make life pleasant later! Promise!
