    Default cluster problem rpm no workie. help

    alright i have a 96 dx that i guess didnt come with a rpm guage and i put a brand new 99-00 si cluster and my rpm doesnt work.
    and was wonderin is either my ish is fucked or do i have to do some rewiring/ switch some pins around.?

    That kinda sounds like a short somewhere...one of my friends just put it in and it worked...but goodluck man

    I have a 96 4dr and i put a 99-00 cluster in also it should plug and play try unplugging and plug back and see what happens.

    i know they plug and play, and doing that is not going to do anything.
    and there's not a short any where, the car originally didn't come with a rpm gauge

    You shouldn't have to re-wire anything at all to run that cluster 100%. Better check yo engine harness bitttt.

    sounds like you have some wiring issues or you were sold a bad cluster
