    LOL! We had them for years. I just want the IM. It's cheap and the Sidekick is set up well for that. We have the Metro PCS for local shit. Dan just needs it when he goes outta town.

    I have had both sidekicks, the sidekick color and sidekick2. Do not waste your money. I cant lie, when it works it is the best little gadget in the world, but that isnt too often. I had extremely delayed text messages ALL the time when i had the sk2. It was too fragile, i went through 6 of the sidekick color. The customer service sucks on them, i spoke with techs numerous times and they fix my text messages and an hour later its back the same way it was. The concept is a very good idea but the build quality is the worst. From my own personal experice i recommend somin else. BTW the delayed text has been a glitch they have yet to fix

    Tracy if you are looking for a phone of the same playing field as the Sidekick actually better,

    Look into phones like
    palmOne Treo 600
    palmOne Treo 650
    Blackberry
    Siemens SX66

    Those are kick ass phones if thats what your looking for...
    My girl had a Sidekick and I played around with it was aight....
    I personally have a Blackberry 7290 and it will kick its ass anyday of the week.

    This phones are not cheap, But I rather have a piece of shit Nokia from Metro PCS over A sidekick w/ tmobile.

    Julio, I was playing around with my Dad's Blackberry (the new 7100t) and I just wasn't impressed by it. The internet was slow and nearly impossible to use and I just couldn't get AIM to work on it, no matter how I tried. He loves that thing for the e-mail, though.

    I got the tmobile sidekick for only $199 at the Tmobile store. I love it!! I get great reception & service plus you can go to tons of websites, AIM, etc. I know some people with the blackberry and they cant do as much as you can with the sidekick

    Mines will get slow sometimes, But very rarely, But mines flies through the net when In good location.

    I guess depending on the area you are in.
