    Default 92 gsr integra vtec problem

    well my speed o cable is messed up and i cant see how fast i am going. the check engine light is also on im guessing this is why vtec is not working. need some help

    probably poped out of the tranny,been messing with it lately?gotta have speedo for vtech.

    bad sensor if vtec isnt popping

    Your speedometer has to work in order for vtec to work..there is your problem. Hope this helps..

    Check to make sure the cable is all the way in there. Make sure the clip is there to keep the cable in too. If that doesn't help then get a new sensor. I know the sensor is in the cluster on EF's not sure about the DA's try to get the mechanical part first which is on the tranny and if that doesn't work see if the sensor is in your cluster.
