    Default Low Fuel Indictators

Ever since I've had my civic, I haven't seen the low fuel indicator lit up on my gauge cluster.....is it likely a bulb or some kind of sensor around the fuel pump?

Not that I NEED the low fuel indicator to warn me, but it'd be nice.

Everything else on my gauge work ( temp, fuel, tach, all the other lights that blinks )

Also, I was wondering, but is the low fuel symbol supposed to light up for a second when starting up your car? I haven't seen it on mine.
