    looking for a 92-95 civic ex/si transmission (s20) no s40's looking to purchase this weekend not looking for bullshit either needs to be in excellent condition

    whatever you buy, make sure its stamped B000 above the axle seal.

    The S40 is the long geared DX tranny,you want the S20 Si/Ex tranny.You can search if you don't belive me

    s20 comes in OBD1 cars, s40 are found in OBD2 cars..which can mean nearly anything. what you look for is the A or B stamping above the axle seal, that is what tells you what the gears are

    I have just what you need. I have an S-20 - 1350949 that is stamped P20-A000. I understand that this is the taller geared tranny, but it has been fully rebuilt with new bearings, synchros and seals. I am looking to get 350 for it. Let me know. 404-993-1580.

    The mileage on the tranny is unknown cause the previous owner swapped the engine a few months before I bought the car. It doesn't grind or anything, just a little oily from the leaky vtec solenoid. Heres the post:

    i got the tranny 150 obo i got long gear and short and can send pictures of the stamps on the tranny i got like 6 d series trannys i do not need
