Default 90 sedan, will not start

So it was having issues idling correctly and I replaced the cap and rotor. After doing so, It ran like clockwork. Not 24 hours (and 50 miles) later, I come home from work and park it to go get lunch with the girl. When I come back, maybe an hour later, it turns and turns but will not catch and fire up. It is definitely getting fuel, I have not tested for spark. The rotor button does turn while trying to start it, if the starter was bad this would not happen, right? Any ideas?

UPDATE: just checked for spark (using the 'screwdriver in plug wire connector against the valve cover' method) and it had no spark, or did not register one by this method anyway.

as in where the plug wires go into the dizzy? I have checked this several times and it does not seem to be the issue.

It was a relay under the dash, right above the hood pop. Little 4-plug relay. Put a new one in, it fired right up. Turned it off and tried it again, it wouldn't do it again. Blew it immediately. What do we think, shorting out somewhere?
