    Thumbs up polished parts

    i picked up a bench top buffer the other day and here are a couple of pics of what i have polished so far. let em know what you think

    Thanks. i been working on a friends valve cover for him, still have more work to do on it.

    Whaaaat?!?!?! You can do this to valve covers as well, dang I have to have this done to mine now (pardon my ignorance)

    From what i understand, you should never use a sand blaster to polish a valve cover. The sand or glass bead ends up getting in places that cannot be blown or cleaned out (such as the baffles where oil can cake), then when oil circulates through the VC the particles get in the oil and lead to premature engine failure. Just my 2 cents. Your other parts look great though.
