The camera does need to be repaired because it is out of warranty. The cost to repair is around $250.00. I have checked on it, that is why I know. I do not want to repair this camera. Very minor repair needed, but it does keep the camera from working. Camera was brand new, taken out of box and on the first try it was dropped.
