Default Could be one of the best boards out on the market right now...

Ok so I am working with two of the IT guys at Gwinnett County right now and we are building well literally a super computer for their forensic lab. Well we were looking at dual socket 1366 boards to run some of the new Gulftown CPUs and ran across this beauty.

Specs are great but due to it being so new we will have to see how it performs in real world situations before we make up our minds.

Just wanted to share our find with the other "nerds" of IA....lol

Ahhh, the classified series board. You are right that it is possibly the best board on the market right now. My brother is actually building a machine for his best-friend using this board, but not the new Gulftown CPU's.

Can't go wrong with an EVGA, I can say thier products and support are second to none. Are you going to be using tesla cards or is it a processor based forensic workstation? I need on of these to do my forensic work on, my laptop is too slow with FTK and EnCase.

We are looking at 4 of the new Fermi based Tesla C2050's for each computer. Should be some nice stuff when finished. Just waiting for the Fermi cards to be released, hopefully just another few days.

Lucky dog, it took two hours for my laptop to scan the email on a 500 megabyte email image.
