Default Question about possible alignment issues....

Ok start out my 82 Supra is having some steering issues. It will want to pull to the right constantly, and every once in a while it jerks back to the left. Basically when I drive in a straight line, its a constant battle just to keep it straight. It's worse when its cold, and as the car warms up, it seems to get a little better....either that or i just get used to it lol. The rear tires seem to be wearing evenly, but the front tires are both wearing down super fast on the inner edge. I know it needs an alignment, but could this be like lower control arm bushings, steering rack failure, ect. Basically, I need to know a couple things to check. Any suggestions???

That is pretty hard to diagnose without seeing the car in person. You obviously need an alignment if the inside of the tires are wearing out faster. Put the front of the car in the air and start checking for loose components. Check for loose bushings, any damage to the control arms, make sure the rack travels smoothly and does not bind anywhere.

its an 82 so i imagine the bushings are shot.... the rack flows freely except when turned all the way to the left. then it has a slight binding all the way at the end... not that big of a deal. all the control arms are in tact with no cracks. in the air, no movement in any of the tires.
