What the hell is DKP?
Its a really bad rating system used by guild's for getting gear from New content.
Depends on the guild, I was on a top rated guild in teh US and the way they did it was everyone started at 0. You get points for showing up, downing bosses. You lose points for not showing up and getting gear. So it sort of evens itself out. But the point is you always have to be on and playing for you really to aquire points and the orginal members always have more points then everyone else. Thats why I say its a bad system. If your new to the game and you join a hardcore raiding guild and they use that, you are not likely to get good gear for a while b/c the OG members have a ton of points saved for the newest gear. Alot of guilds dont use this system anymore. They usually role out of 1000. Or they do a need basis.

DURR I was making a joke... but I play(ed) WoW also hehe and I know how to live my life outside it.
I as well live outside most of the time, I played pretty hardcore up until the lastest patch and decided it wasnt for me anymore. It was taking up to much time, and it cost 15$ a month to play. :boobies: But you are right, there is alot of people that live, sleep and eat this game up. Blizzard has been that way since they started releasing games back in the 90's. Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft. They are all huge hits and people live for these computer games.
I was too, but after the last patch was such a joke I said I am not waiting for it anymore. They are making the game to easy for anyone to be able to beat it. Its b/c the shitty players complain that its still to hard. Half of the players that play currently have never even beaten Vanilla WOW.
