Yesterday i bought some skunk2 pro s coilovers from him, he said he forgot the keys to them at home and he would bring them to me this morning, well a buddy of mine brought me some keys to unlock them and all of them are blown. I'v tried contacting him last night and all this morning trying to get my money back, he refused to text me back or reply to my pm's. I thought the guy was a reputable guy but found out he's a scam artist like alot of these dudes on IA, i will never buy anything from him again, so people beware he might scam u.

sucks man. thats what happens when you dabble into used suspension i guess......most sellers are upfront about it though. getting them rebuilt will be a little under 100 each i guess.......at that point you could have got them new.....but i hate to say it but thats the situation you put yourself into when you bought them used.they are only under warranty for the first buyer.you as the second buyer has to pay to get them fixed. thats the way the suspension game is.

How do you know they are blown

I got a key to unlock the coil when the strut is pushed down it stays it does not gradually go up or anything, that's how I know there blown

So when you compress the strut it stays down it won't return? Die you try moving collar all the way up or down and trying to compress it again?

Usually a blown strut it's the opposite, it springs back really easily almost like it's loose. Although a blown strut could also compress and not rebound too.

Is there any fluids on it? Cylinder leak?

No oil on it, the strut doesn't rebound at all, it is blown.

They were tightened Where u couldnt press them in, i didn't have the adjustment key to losen them

ive known andrew a LONG time i met him on this site he is a standup guy. If these were blown and HE KNEW it he wouldnt have sold them to you. I think your acting a bit fast making a thread this soon from what your saying you just met up yesterday. I agree with mike and say you guys should take them to a shop to see if they are infact blown if they are andrew should pay the cost to have them looked at. Im sure he will work something out with you he is a very stand up guy.
